Welcome!

Since 1980, the Judian Society, a non-profit, apostolic outreach emanating from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Parish and the quad-city communities, has existed to support the struggling widow, divorced woman and single mother finding themselves in crisis situations.

We are caring and committed volunteers striving to be the hands, heart, and feet of Christ by living out the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy in a spirit of Christian charity.

To facilitate and make possible this call of Christ to "Follow Me," we are dependent upon the generosity of benefactors and those who frequent our St. Jude's Possible Shop.  All proceeds from sales, raffles, and other activities and events go toward our apostolic endeavors.

Remember the Good That We Do As We Struggle to Overcome the Failures, Suffering, and Confusion of the World.

And the crowds asked him, "What then should we do?"  He said to them in reply, "whoever has two cloaks should share with the person who has none.  And whoever has food should do likewise."

We help mothers regain their confidence and human dignity by supporting them during times of crisis and helping them find constructive ways to solve their problems.
We help women overcome the hurdles of helplessness and depression with support from our own spiritual institute and in partnership with other community organizations.
Making Families Stronger

We know that women are keenly aware of the unique challenges our sisters face in their daily lives when faced with abandonment, abuse, and neglect.

As Elizabeth affirmed Mary, we affirm our sisters in need of comfort and reinforcement about their own unique value as women and mothers.
